Privacy Policy

Overview

PRN1 is a browser-based video download utility. We collect as little data as possible to operate the service. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.

Using PRN1 does not require an account, email address, or any personal information. You paste a URL and get download links — that is the full interaction.

Data We Collect

When you use PRN1 the following information is automatically processed by our servers:

• The video URL you submit — used only to fetch download links for that request.
• Your IP address — logged transiently for abuse prevention and server error diagnosis.
• Standard HTTP request headers (browser type, referring page, timestamp).

We do not collect your name, email, location, or any account data. We do not use cookies for tracking. A single session cookie may be set for technical security reasons (CSRF protection); it contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser.

How We Use Data

Submitted URLs are used exclusively to look up and return download links. They are not stored beyond the duration of your request and are not logged to permanent storage in identifiable form.

IP addresses and request logs are retained for up to 30 days for the purposes of abuse detection, rate limiting, and infrastructure debugging. They are not sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Third-Party Services

PRN1 uses the following third-party services which may receive limited technical data:

• Google Fonts — to load the Roboto Mono typeface. Google may log your IP and browser when the font files are requested. You can review Google's privacy policy.
• Hosting / CDN provider — our infrastructure provider processes request data as a data processor under a data processing agreement.

We do not embed advertising networks, social media trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party session-recording tools on any PRN1 page.

Cookies & Local Storage

PRN1 uses localStorage in your browser to remember your light/dark theme preference. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. No tracking cookies are set. No consent banner is displayed because we do not use non-essential cookies.

Children's Privacy

PRN1 is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data through this service, contact us at hello@prn1.cc and we will remove it promptly.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold. Because we collect minimal data and do not link it to identities, most requests can be satisfied by confirming we hold nothing against your name or email. To make a request, email hello@prn1.cc.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any revision. Continued use of PRN1 after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
